Need help adding a unit to a faction

I would like to add the Carthigian Archer as a buildable unit for Carthage. I added the faction name in the export unit file and added it in the export building file so they could build. That said, the game won't run.

Could someone give me some guidance as to what I am doing wrong? Thanks.

I dont see any useful information there. That is for adding a brand new unit, I only want to add a faction to an existing unit.

Look in this thread https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=38378 . Here I helped Jagger add axemen to the Gaul faction. The method should be basically the same. I am at school right now, so I cant tell you the names of the texture files and the exact names within the other files. If you run into any problems or questions, reply to this and I will look-up the correct info when I get home.
