Only custom battles for now can be saved. Hopefully this will be addressed in the next patch. For now there is nothing you can do for campaign battles.

I couldn't agree more. I had a battle where I took over a Breton town killing 1,979 enemy soldiers and lost only 36 men. The truly amazing thing about this battle was that while I was shelling the bretons with 4 heavy onagers, one stray bolt just flew WAY into the middle of the city. I rolled my eyes as it was flying into the distance when suddenly I hear "The enemy general has been killed!". Sure enough, that stray shot nailed the missile chariot general as he was running through the streets of the town. It was beautiful, and I have nothing to prove it...

Theres a bug in the game that makes siege weapons 100 percent accurate against chariot generals.

Now that I burst your bubble..........

I wasn't aiming at the general, but rather a cluster of archers. It really was a stray shot. Also, the general was speeding through the town.
