    Default Computer problems

Over the last few weeks I've had problem with my comp when playing MTW. It works fine in the Strat map but should I play in Tactical combat mode it works for a few minutes before either freezing or crashing to the desktop . Is this doing this just in a campaign save game? Or is it doing it in any battle? Saves can get corrupted (you might have to go to an older save.)

I'm not familiar with your graphics card, so I'm not sure where to begin (since it functioned before.)

Have you run any old DX7/8 benchmarks (like 3DMark2001SE) to make sure this is not a Direct X problem?
    Rome Total War, it's not a game, it's a do-it-yourself project.
