    Question Problems with forum interface

I don't know where to post this so I posted it here. If this is the wrong forum, please move it to the correct one.

I am having trouble with the interface of the 'post new topic' or 'post reply' screens. The smileys don't work anymore, nor do the lay-out buttons (whether in guided or enhanced mode): everytime I click them the screen moves to the top of the page but no code is added. If I try to click the 'more' hyperlink in the smiley field, the same happens. The spellcheck doesn't work either: when I click the button nothing happens. However, the preview and submit buttons function normally.

I've recently switched from Microsoft Internet Explorer to Mozilla Firefox, but the switch did not give me any trouble. However, a few days ago I changed a number of security settings and downloaded an update for Firefox. Perhaps one of these caused the problem. Is there someone who knows more about this?

Can you go back to default security settings? I suspect that some sort of scripting or such has been disabled. I'm not a web page guy though. You should compare settings then try switching items to see if you can bring it back to life.

You've probably already deleted the temporary internet files and tried reloading pages.
    Rome Total War, it's not a game, it's a do-it-yourself project.

Well, everything is working again, so I think the problem is over. I didn't change the security settings, but I deleted the history, cookies and cache of my browser and the session rules of my fire wall.

    Thanks you very much.
