    Default Automanage sucks

I trully hate the Automanage function, especially when u dont turn off auto train units in the cities. If u have auto train on, all the cities with no governors would start building useless units in the middle of the continent without any reasons. Not only they cost money but they add to ur maintanence cost.

I had a huge Julii empire last night and I was personally managing the recruitmnent of units in my cities without governors. I was doing really well, owned all of france, dacia, spain, german. I was raking in 20 K/turn, which is pretty good for Julii. All my previous campaign with them I only get around 5 K per turn. So afer conquering Italy, I switched to Automanage, and lo and behold. After a few turns I saw my income lower from 20 K to -50 K. Almost all my cities are making crap units like peasants and even some legionaries too. And those cities arent even close to where the main campaigns are being fought. I even set 100% saving in the Save/Spend scrollbar but they still keep making units.

I understand the thing with not having governors and limiting recruiting to discourage early rushes and add more complexity to the game. But there should be like a checkbox or something to stop a city from ever making units and wasting money.
Why cant we just get along???

Well there is check box to do just that and another one to prevent comp building. They are on the right side of building scroll.

I've given up on the automanage too, it seems "easier" to simply to do a tour of all the cities you have & start construction manually, then deal with the next construction build each turn through the construction completed option. That cuts down on checking each & every city constantly to see what's happening, & despite not being a great microman fan, its actually helped me enjoy the campaign more as area's of the empire have become "breadbaskets" feeding the military machine.

Couldn't live without automanage taxes though.
