Unable to play quick battle or campaigns

Just downloaded and installed HTW. I'm able to play historic battles but can't play quick battles or play a campaign. When I try I get booted back to my desktop. Any ideas!!!

I also CTD after trying to launch campaign.

The loading bar fills up, I get a brief glimpse of the campaign map (about a tenth of a second) and then CTD.

Check if your unit option setting is set on default.

I think you didnt extract the economy patch properly. When I extracted it on mine it went into a folder inside of the main folder instead of just into the main folder the way it was supposed to. Move those files into the main folder by hand and your game will probably start running fine.

Since it didnt seem to work without the economy patch I wonder if the version you are running now is broken without the patch installed?
