Dont seem to be able to find drivers for my soundcard.

Its a soundblaster Live 5.1 model SB0100.

I had this problem with MTW with some Soundblaster Live! drivers a while back and solved the problem by turning down the level of hardware acceleration.

You can do this by going Start > Run > dxdiag and clicking on the sound tab. You'll see a slider for the acceleration - try changing it to see if it has any effect.

This has helped me in several games with choppy sound.

I had the same problem with my old Athlon 700. I upgraded the Processor and there is now no stuttering with the sound during the introductions. ( P.s. I have an old soundblaster card with the original drivers that came with the card over 4 years ago!)
