Tomorrow the US celebrates Thanksgiving. One of my favorite holidays and this year in particular, I have much to be thankful for. A day devoted to family, feasting, football, and the recliner. I hope everyone has a great day.![]()

I'll be thankful for the fact the school cafeterias have closed and...I don't have anything to eat...on Thanksgiving...![]()
Gah, that sucks Sasaki. Believe it or not, some restaurants make a killing catering to those of us who, for whatever reason won't be joining the family for the chow down. Usually there are other students in the same boat--it's made for some of the funnest Thanksgiving dinners I've had in the past. Relatives never liked to play quarters at the family gathering, and I'm related to all the girls ... .
Ditto on sentiments regarding the holiday, Tito. Happy Thanksgiving to All.

Last year, the lowly Lions wound up beating the Packers in their Thanksgiving game. I keep thinking it's a fluke that they won, but another part of me thinks that the Lions have a different intensity on Thanksgiving. All year long I've been expecting the Colts to vaporize them, but now I'm not so sure. Living in this state, I've begun to learn that many times, the most logical explanation for something is the one that makes the least sense of all. I now believe it's going to be a close game.
I also get to drive up north after the first snow of the year. This means I get to point out minivans stuck in the median 15 minutes after they pass me going 85 mph.
"Never in physical action had I discovered the chilling satisfaction of words. Never in words had I experienced the hot darkness of action. Somewhere there must be a higher principle which reconciles art and action. That principle, it occurred to me, was death." -Yukio Mishima
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. The fine folks here at the Org are just one of the many things I'm thankful for. Enjoy the day however you spend it.
