Any tips on setting up MTW MP without Internet?

I have a Linksys router and all you have to do is network your PCs to the router and the LAN setup will be automatic. Launch the game, as normal, go into multiplayer/LAN and your game should show up on the other PCs. I have 2 PCs and a laptop hooked up to play MTW/VI with my kids, via LAN.

Sorry, but Vanya never gets beaten...

... not even when His grand wet gunny wedgie army of doom gets driven from the field by a hodgepodge of clueless noobs.

... not even when a flaming mass of rock lands on Vanya's surrogate head, thereby sending a sudden shock of horror into the followers of His cult, The Crusade for the Liberation of Man from the Tyranny of Freedom.

... not even when Vanya's entire army is swallowed by the earth whole. Heck, if that happens, Vanya cannot help but chuckle at the subtle nuances of their incredible demise!

... not even when Vanya falls asleep at the mouse and forgets to move His horsearchers when they are set to NOT fire at will and are being pelted into oblivion by a bunch of drooling maniacal archer warbands.

... not even when Vanya's men decide they would rather go back to their harem women instead of going out on a limb and trying to marry, er "conquer", some butch head-hunter maiden who deep down inside just wants somebody to hold her tight beneath the moon on a lonely night!

It's quite scary when Vanya starts to rhyme...

... not even when Vanya gets a solitary peasant unit in a 3v3 mp battle... and forgets to at least boost their armor, weapons, or valor.

... not even when Vanya plucks His surrogate head from His own shoulders and squeezes the juice out of it because it ripenned a tad too early for Vanya's taste -- right smack in the middle of a hearty melee. Sure this tends to shake Vanya's men's confidence in their Head-Honcho, but Vanya expects each and every silly allied pig-dog to die for Him anyways.

So you see, as long as peeps die on the field, Vanya wins! It means more heads for Vanya to harvest. After all, once the battle is over, it's not like the heads are going to get up and run away (barring a chirugeon walking by using one of Vanya's potions). With the heads just sitting their ready to be plucked, youz can't go wrong!



Vanya sez... dealing with kidz is easy. Just cut their heads off!

GAH! Of course, that is how you'd deal with anybody. So in a way, that makes it consistent... Last thing youz need is annihilatory discrimination suits being brought against youz...



Vanya *would* really like to get some of them nubile head-hunter vixens from the steppe into His entourage though... Vanya thinks they would be "much fun"...

mmm ive done all these which you have said, need any help fionn just say please and ill get back to you.
But atm ive just got both of my 2 pc on home network linked to a router, one had a direct ethernet link to motherboard on it but other pc motherboard isnt so new so had to use a usb adptor, which ive just recently changed to a new networking card.
Got any problems just say also please state in detail what you want to get and do and ill answer you.
