Has this ever happened to early to anyone?
Happened to me in my first game (can't remember the exact date though)... thought it a bit odd. As I was the Brutii, I decided to do the whole defender of the republic thing and allied with the Senate against the other Roman factions.
Sorry bout the wording, believe it or not, English is my first language, tiredness seemed to have gotten the best of me (only excuse I could think of). After further examination, I had three generals that had negatives to senate popularity and bonuses to popularity. Combined with the quick conquest of land, I think that perhaps the ratio of popularity of a faction between the senate and people may the key to this... need to test further. Thanks for the reply!
I was banned within 15 years (255 BC) in my Scipii campaign along with the two other families, and I had conquered Sicily and one Greek city. Only one heir had a "victor" trait so I guess it was rather random.
Also happened in my last game...I was Parthia, and all Roman families were outlawed.
