wow. pretty harsh. and i didnt see any evidence. so, if i went to a tournament like that and someone just said 'hey, we've got a cheater here!' and whether i was cheating or not, that's how i'd be treated? pretty sad. surprised they didnt take baseball bats to him (sarcasm... please, no comments that krae supports batting someone for cheating :)
K.
Wonder if they've got the bit on film ,where the man comes back with the police?
He must have right?
That's it.
personally id have come back with lawyers - they destroyed the evidence so how can they prove he was cheating where as he has plenty of evidence they trashed his "l33t machine"

will be next to go.
well i wouldn't do that at a lan party, i'd let loose one of my nasty programs (sterile of course, they can't spread unless someone actually transfers the file manually) they are so funny, and so easy to fix, my programs just do annoying stuff, like auto kill programs that the user tries to load after windows boots, an make your cd rom drive pop out when ever you try to load something in it, the funny thing the file is a reasonable sized file in my documents titled "PIA" which stands for Pain in Arse
thanks,

"It is not the well-being of individuals that makes cities great, but the well-being of the community"- Niccolò Machiavelli.
It's kind of obvious that this is a created movie and this isnt a real cheater, you can almost see the smile on the guys face and someone is saying, wait for the camera, that led me to disbelieve the scene.
if it's true tho, he got what he deserved
Common Unreflected Drinking Only Smartens
Wouldn't be surprised if the movements of each player are being recorded. And if he's ccheating it would be obvious from that(his player whipping around 180* instantly for example) and if it's real he probably signed a document that consnets to this treatment if he's caught cheating.

Tune in at Animal Planet.
"Here children, we see the pack at its most aggressive state. They sniff up a possible prey, call in the pack and attack in unison. A perfect display of teamwork in the wildlife. We can see how the pack drags their prey to a more suitable place for the kill and when they are finished with it they walk home, their bellies full and their hunger satisfied. When the pack of stronger predators have left the kill we see the unavoidable collection of various scavengers come to pick up the scraps of the toppredators. We see the small foxes, we see vultures with their long thin limbs and necks and we even see a hulking brute of a wild boar, all fighting for the little peices of the kill they can get at. In all a perfect day at The Animal Planet"
But I agree that this is a setup. A bragtape rather than anything else.
You may not care about war, but war cares about you!
Nice. I do not know what they use there, but many a game with Raven Shield I got 'busted' (punkbuster) which is kinda strange since I don't cheat. Even if he cheated, this was a bit harsh. If he is such a newbie that he needs cheats at an official tournament then the exposure and the inevitable walk of shame should be enough, what the fork is up with destroying his gear.
Here another weird video, really have no clues how old these videos are or if they'er real or fake.

i've seen a professional Counter-Strike Tournament on a documentary called First Person Shooter (or something like that)
there were cheaters in that Tournament. one guy was walking behind all of his 5 players' computers and telling them what to do, which is illegal because he was turning a 5 vs. 5 contest into a 6 vs. 5 contest and it was obviously working in his team's favor
when the Tournament authorities were made aware of the situation, they approached him and he said: "oh, i didn't know we couldn't do that! my bad!"
he was told to stop but the problem is that the matches his team won as a result of cheating were not revoked! his team was able to keep all their cheating wins!
luckily the team featured in the documentary creamed the cheaters after they lost their coaching advantage, but it very well could have resulted in the non-cheating team losing the contest since they were very close to being eliminated as a direct result of the cheating
what i'm saying is: at Tournaments like this it's better to be overly-strict than to let cheaters get away with cheating!
