How to remove Rome Total Realism 4.0?

What's up guys? I've installed this RTR 4.0, but my campaign in progress just wouldn't load, so how to remove this stuff not harming the game, should I reinstall RTW? Thanks for advice .
P.S. Can't wait for the patch, I hope they'll release it next week as promised

Back up your saves from the pre RTR 4.0 game. Then reinstall.

To have both versions on your pc at the same time, install RTW, then make a copy of the entire RTW folder. Install the RTR 4.0 files into the new copy you just made and add a new link to the .exe file.
