help... big problem... everything running too fast

on the campaign screen, all the animations run real fast. Ok. No big deal. But the problem lies in the battle screen. Everything is running at least twice as fast as normal time, despite being on 1X speed. Going to 3X is like ultra blur. Weird. It makes managing a large battle almost impossible.

My CPU is running about 5 degrees hotter than normal. what is going on? any ideas? I have never tried playing with any settings which should have effected any of this. Every time I play the game it seems like it gets a little faster.

Well I guess your only solution is to take my 1.49 processor for your 2.6. It should solve evreything for you

Does this only happen in RTW, or have you noticed it in other games too?

Its RTW, its always that fast.
