It is fairly difficult (read: impossible) for me to rank the best of the best. I can’t even rank my favorite 100 marley songs (believe me, I’ve tried many times). I’ll just put down the songs I’ve been listening to a lot lately (not necessarily in order and not including instrumentals):

    1. We Are Going – Burning Spear
    2. Holy Man – Burning Spear
    3. Hallelujah – Burning Spear
    4. Resistance – Burning Spear
    5. There You Go (traditional) – Jonny Island Reggae Group
    6. The Best Of All (traditional) – Jonny Island Reggae Group
    7. Glasshouse (live) – Peter Tosh
    8. Pick Myself Up (live) – Peter Tosh
    9. Right Back Where We Started From (live) – Maxine Nightengale
    10. Son’s Gonna Rise – Citizen Cope
    11. Penitentiary – Citizen Cope
    12. Bullet and a Target – Citizen Cope
    13. Pablo Picasso – Citizen Cope
    14. Police & Thieves – Junior Murvin
    15. Solomon – Junior Murvin
    16. Something(live) – George Harrison
    17. Here Comes the Sun (live) – George Harrison
    18. While My Guitar Gently Weeps (live) – George Harrison
    19. Taxman (live) – George Harrison
    20. December African Rain – Juluka

Where the hell is stair way to heaven or any led Zeppelin for that matter?

I can't really say my favourites as I really just can't and I'm influenced by what I've been listening recently. For instance I've been listening a lot to Queen and Le Zeppelin so Bohemiam Rhapsody and Stairway to Heaven and a few others. I just can't decide on the top hundred. Too hard.

    Exactly!

Although Stairway doesnt present Page's guitar skills at all..

I prefer Dazed and Confused and Heartbreaker. But any LZ trumps all others, besides mabey hendrix, in my opinion.

Yeah, Kurt was a good writer and Grohl / Channing and Novelsic were great Drum Players/Bass Player.

Its a shame things came to an end, Nirvana could have become even bigger without Kurts suicide, but things happen I guess, he had his reasons, still a shame though.

That bring up a question in my head, just how many Rock artists have killed themselves either accidentally (via drugs etc) or suicidally?

Oh yeah! Roger Troutman (of Zapp with the computer voice) was also shot with his brother. Also, typo: Keith Hudson died of cancer not murder.

Another great: Augustus Pablo died of cancer.

    Let's have a war - Fear
Sometimes good guys don't wear white - Minor Threat
    Static - The Misfits
Pablo Picasso - Jonathan Richman & the Modern Lovers
Born to loose - Johnny Thunders & the Heartbreakers
Looking for a kiss - The New York Dolls
Butcher Baby - Wendy O. Williams and the Plasmatics
    Sound system - Operation Ivy
    Liza and Louise - NOFX
    Fried chicken - The Cramps
Kill the poor - Dead Kennedys
    Cough syrup - Butthole Surfers
    Bongwater - Bongwater
Crackin' up - Revolting Cocks (Also check out their cover of Rod Stewarts "Do ya think I'm sexy")
Everything turns grey - Agent Orange
    I'm not a loser - Descendents
