Without modding? No. You could just play as the Illyrians and just not do anything with the rest of the world. If the rebel faction works like it did in MTW (I'm not sure, I've not tested yet) then any rebel provinces not given orders will do things on their own.

ya but then ud have a huge money issue if u kept those other rebel provinces around.
*Bows. Turns to return to darkness...bumps head...looks around, pretends noone saw. Dissapears in shadows while cursing at self*

I was playing as rebels but as you said i cant keep up with the money, i want to play only as illyrians and no other rebel faction
But how do i play as rebels then, i tried it with the RTR 3.2 addon New_ province mod, but when i select rebels faction and the start the campaign, the game crashes
