I do, or at least tommorrow I am going to start a new Shogun campaign, I am not sure with which clan though

I agree. I still do campaigns in Shogun, but this place is a desert.

I play MP STW every now and then, sometimes a custom battle and played a campaign last summer (sort of a challenge to finish it in 13 turns on expert). Playing a SP campaign is fun, it's even more fun when you have fun with other people about it (share stories and experiences and such).

Perhaps we should do a STW PBM?

I STILL PLAY!!! i just love STW i have never played any of the other total war games kinda as i bought shogun total war because i have a high intrest in japan esp. the sengoku period.i play for a few days ok closer to a week in a row and then it sits for a while while i attend to life and then it's back to killing people who can't see how great i am....lol but really yes i still do play as much as i can get time to

I would like to participate in one, but al my campaigns ended after only two or three reigns. Four turns per years simply makes the daimyo's last too long: you can conquer Japan in one reign only if you hurry.

Shogun was a great game and it had an atmosphere and a simplicity that Medieval lacked. But M:TW is more complex and the battle engine is better.

I still play SP campaigns from time to time. I get in the mood and play a few, until it starts feeling old again, and then move on to other games. But I always seem to come back for more when the other games get old. STW is my favorite computer game, so I think I'll probably play it from time to time until I can no longer run it on my computer (technology advances and changes to the point where I can't conveniently run it anymore). I play MP from time to time also, but nowadays only on a private fakeserver with my m8s.

Me exactly the same... tried Takeda and Hojo and Shimazu destroyed me like nothing. AI seems now much more agressive in STW than in MTW (not talking about that timid RTW...)
