to players that are bored fast i got a game option it can be use with all factions but i think the greeks are the most fun

with greece
1 abandon al your provinces but sparta/other city
2 you are not allowed to conquer other cities
3 your not allowed to have more then 5 family members
4 if your greece you are not allowed to build walls
5 your not allowed to use cheats or modify your desc_buildings to boost your faction abilities
6 you are allowed to take advantage of ai's weaknis

it is the hardest with sparta because it has no walls
you wont b bored fast cause you have to watch your finance constantly
so you wont be very powerfull you'll have a fight every 1-5 turns
try it it is really fun

Its to easy just to park the hopolites in the middle of the street. Then watch the enemy come right into your spears. Basically its like having an invincible wall of spears in the street. You will always win, if done right. Now with Gaul, I doubt anyone could do it.

Well... Consider this.

Do what is proposed with the Greek Cities, that way you get a fairly easy way to defend yourself. But I'm not proposing this for the fight it involves, but to see how the world goes around without you, who gets big and who takes them down... I guess the map cheat should be enabled.
You might even get money from factions who want you on their side.

i didn't said that you could not fight outside your castle but that you could only have one city

you could take your armies around the map if you want but just with only one province that may not give up

Why not just go for no cavalry armies especially Carthage or better yet, the Parthian reforms rely heavily on those eastern infantry.
