Wouldnt it be great, if CA would redo, SHOGUN with the best of the RTW/MTW engines?

Of all of these there was just something about that period that I really like. A redo with all they have learned would be awesome.

I think I'd wander off into a state of heavenly bliss if CA's next game were to be a STW remake. That game has always had a special place in my heart.

Wasn't there a mod of RTW in progress to put samurai and things in to make it like STW? *walks off to look*

Valve made Counter Strike remake with new HL2 engine so i think it is possible to make the same with Shogun.
i am ready to pay for such a remake even without new units and old chessboard style map.

I heard about the Sengoku mod a while back but I lost touch. Glad to see it's still going-I look forward GREATLY to playing it.

I wish I knew how to make graphicsy stuff or anything like that, because I'd be glad to help...alas, I don't have a clue. Nor am I an artistic type.

I liked STW, but liveing so *reletivly* close to Japan, I see plenty of Samuri action every day....

How ever, it would be neet to see.

The RTW engine is going to get a lot of use. If I'd spent as much time and money as Activision and CA spent on this, I'd want to get a bunch of games out of it.

Tokugawa V Hannibal, Caesar V William the Conquerer?

Would have my $90 AUD.

Multiplay would be redefined...

But I digress...I would love to see my naginata infantry in full 3D.

That would be a fantastic game! Even if it meant cutting out the strategic map altogether and just focussing on packing in as many unit models and battle maps as possible, it would still rule. And the engine would work for anything from Hittites v Egypt to Roundheads v Cavaliers!
