im not sure whether this is the right place to post this thread but can anyone please tell me where i can download all the episodes of time commanders. i missed a few of them when they were on tv :(

p.s also does anyone know where i can get episodes of decisive battles?

Its the entrance hall mate anything can come here lol, anyway as for time commanders episodes there has been a post about this before, i will try to find the links for ya as i know you can download them somewhere yet would be cool for others to post them also.

I am afraid they are not available anymore. As I understand it, the forum which had them has been closed down because they had a habit of posting materials without asking for the permission of the owners.

But Lion TV has announced that there will be a new series of TC, with battles ranging from the classical to the medieval age. Unfortunately, I don't know when they will be on again.

Yes Ludens after trying to access the old site, its been taken offline.

But do not fear, there is large amounts of gossip about a new series being released just around the corner in the new year.

I live in denmark, hence I can´t see the UKTV channel or BBC2, is there any way that you can watch the series online? I have searched the bbc website, but they only have a few clips of other programmes avalible for screening.

Btw., I wonder why it is not possible to buy the episodes on dvd. At least, I haven´t found any.

If anyone can help me out, I would be forever gratefull.

It's UKTV History that is showing sum re-runs at the moment. They are showing 5 (out of the 16) episodes this week. Hoefully the rest will be on soon. Last night was Gaugamela.

I notice that the units and the maps in the game version of historical battles differ substantially to the Time Commanders version. Makes it difficult to rerun it after watching it ;)

Try searching for "Time Commanders" on your friendly neighbourhood eMule/eDonkey/whatever client (I like the Mule, myself - http://www.emule-project.net/home/perl/general.cgi?l=1 - but to each their own).

Thanks :) I had a look, and, yes, there are ways of acquiring the episodes, it was actually the maps/units used in the shows I wanted to rerun :) Sorry if my post was confusing.

I've downloaded a couple of modded files with historical battles, but they are completely different to the televised versions.
