Heats of Iron 2 demo

For the first time ever(I think) paradox has released a demo for one of it's games. It is 'only' one of the battle scenarios, and ardenne offisive that was germany's last gasp. It's rather entertaining, I played as the jerries. Succeeded in taking Antwerpt and bagged ~10 allied divisions in the process. Then I followed the channel. After some minor setbacks I almost took the last alled costal sector in the area(you like that ike?) with ten divisions looming over Paris and allied command. Then the scenario ended. Try it its a blast.

Well, happilly, the game won't be as bugged and full of silly features as other paradox' games...

I just finished. I didnt do as good as you but i did capture antwerp and gained some ground, was fun!

After trying the Allies time and again and "failed" (either stall or minor victory) I finally broke through and took Berlin

Then I tried the Axis and had an easy time smashing through the Allies lines

This scenario is biased to the Germans perhaps?

But Essen was really hard to take, I had 35 divisions vs 7 and LOST. When I took it when I won, it was 32 vs 3.

Trapping enemy divisions is an exellent way to win though, although it can get funny, the Germans lost 7 divisions inf to a retreating command unit.
