Senate generals!!!!

I'm playing as Carthage and when I got to Rome there 6 of those suicidal generals all in one stack. Taking on Rome as Carthage is hard enough but to have them with 6 generals is a bit rediculous IMO. The moment of opportunity arrised and Rome split that army in half and built a fort. So I assaulted immediately,had elephants. Well I won but lost 5 units of infantry and 3 units of cavalry along with my sacred band getting semi torn up from frontal cavalry charges in the assault. I only won because I had them greatly outnumbered. Now that I have them down to nothng I need to train a new army and if they pop out more generals I'm just plain hurting.

Asassin? That'd be about 30 asassins minimum and that'd be if the gods favoured me. It probably takes close to 100 tries to get rid of all 6 generals and they had 3 more in the city.

If you meant slaughter them on the battlefield that's not an easy task for Carthage as they have a hard enough time with just Rome's regular units.
