And so beings my ranting nagging questions...

Question: Can you get ancillarys from other faction's buildings?

I am fairly sure the answer is yes but have yet to see this in action. I know you get the +10% happyness etc... but what level shrine temple etc... does it need to be at to get a priest of x? or wise person of some kind from academies? When i invade a town, usually only the first level of the temple or shrine has been built even after 70+ years of game time.



Question: What does the senate look for when electing an office?

someoen said you have to be elected to lower offices before moving up but to get into the lower office, as far as I can tell you try to give them as much influence as possible and hope you beat out the compettion. I know there are traits that give the senate more of a liking to you like 'politial' or 'politial animal' etc... but you're born with these...



Question: Or can you somehow promote more political traits by doing something with the general/family member?

I know you can make them a conquering hero and all that, but that makes the people love... you not really the senate... or am i all screwed up here?



I'm sorry if these questions have been answered already. Trust me I've looked through lots of threads and even beyond the eye of the needle ( no sence of humor? ) but no luck.

Usually I never have to post cuz you guys fill in all the gaps ( btw anyone else unimpressend with the documentation on RTW? no unit tech tree... got to look in the builing list plus i never knew to right click on the "army" "city" "agent" headers to bring up a full list of towns armies and agents, don't remember than in the prolouge) I especially love the guys who whip out the calculators and run computations and permutations on stats and write up the charts and line graphs on everything.
