Sounds very good, are you having a single roman faction then? I thought the Scipii could fit in...

Yes, at the beginning of the campaign there are two, but the senate disappears immediately. We chose Julii as we had the idea that the red color fits better with the romans. But they have been renamed as "the romans", without any reference to the Julii (except in the names of the family tree, but for the moment I won't change them).Originally Posted by Myrddraal
The blue color of the scipii has been assigned to the italic faction.
The mod is quickly advancing those days and we will probably have a beta version (in Spanish for the moment) by the end of March.
Cheers.
Great.
I was thinking that it may make sense if Carthage had a much bigger choice of mercinaries, perhaps you could throw that feature in if you agree?
Do you mean in battles or in campaign? It is easy for battles, but I don't know how to "expand" the choice of mercenaries in campaign for one given faction.Originally Posted by steve

Another possibility would be to give more choices of recruitment to Carthage in some "foreign" territories, such as the Iberian peninsula.
The common units and mercenaries are still to be developed.
Cheers.
Before changing from 1.1 to 1.2 we wanted to finish three iberian factions.
Celtiberians, turdetani and edetani are finished (for the moment). These are some screenshots of the last units.
Celtiberians:
Soldurios (a "hidden" unit of the game)
Lug warriors
Light lancers
Skirmishers (left) and heavy skirmishers (right) equipped with flaming javelins
Caetratii cavalry (one of my own textures)
The same caetratii but infantry
These are units for turdetani (south iberians):
Spearmen (left) and scutarii (right)
Militia caetratii (left) and mastienos (right)
Jinetes (heavy cav, left) and caetratii cavalry (right)
Slingers (left) and skirmishers (right)
As you can see I have reassigned the unit cards, only for information purpose (to have an idea of the type of unit you are selecting).
