74%, 177 mile average mistake. But I don't know any really except the big ones, so I only got quite a good score later on because it was like a jig saw.
I got an A* at Geography at GCSE too. Useless subject.
92%, 17 miles average error.
After starting off with one of those rectangular states, which I missed by a few hundred miles, the rest were easy.

I've found what I learned in Physical Geography to be very, very useful in my backpacking explorations of deep wilderness areas. Understanding the basics of weather and clouds, phenomena like orographic lift, tidal patterns, soil, rock, tectonic activity etc. can be helpful if things get dicey. Combined with a course in Natural History, it makes for quite an enhanced outdoor experience, and a heightened level of personal safety in the face of a natural tantrum (minor mone, anyway ...).Originally Posted by BDC

I'll try the other continents, though im sure ill ace them.
cool game. 49/50 (98%), avg err: 2 mi, 182 secs on my first try. time actually went up and the second try, with 98% again. but i got 50/50 on the third try at 172 secs.
it helps when you've lived all over the country. also, if you get a lot of coastal states at first, that helps a lot too.

The maps are also somewhat inaccurate. Look at Sweden, lol.
South America 95% on level 8. I keep missing the target for central countries.
I know an even more chalenging game like this. I sometimes play it on Encarta Encyclopedia. It asks to locate cities as well countries. Can you imagine how hard that can get in Central Asian Republics?
