Nope. That big hole that usually goes in between those tectonic continents goes along the western mexican coast right thru S.Francisco and separates the californian peninsula from the resto of the continent (well, part of it). Thats why the area is so generous in terms of earthquakes.Well if you prefer the geoligical version, then you would agree with me that North and South America are two seperate continents.
There is no physical separation between north and south america, except the Panama channel, but thats a different matter altogether.
Man, the things I will argue about when I'm bored...Boy, this is nothing. You should see me in a 13 hour long bus trip.... I was creating my own theory about black holes, and imagining a world where all the words ended with an "r"..... Now, this is classified information..
