There used to be a sticky regarding book recomendations etc. i cant find it but heres a few books to look out for which are RTW related.

1. the greek and macedonian art of war, by FE adcock

2, hippeis the cavalry of ancient greece

3,the punic wars, brian caven

4,the first punic war, J.F lazenby

5, warfare in the classical world, john warry[ classic conflicts]

6, mercenaries of the ancient world, serge yalichev

7,the greeks at war[from athens to alexander] philip de souza, waldemar heckel, Lloyd Ll ewellyn jones.

and finally a little latter time period but a great book is. byzantium and its army 284-1081 by warren treadgold and is good reference book regarding army costs,size placements compostion of units and historical maps etc [one book to look out for] maybe usefull in regards to modding.

and finally all these books and hundreds more i have i have purchased mainly through[http://www.abebooks.com/] and very cheaply i might had in my humble opnion the best second hand book site out there with links to thousands of other bookshops etc.
