Sounds pretty cool. Not too original, I think, but it's deffenetly got my thumbs up.

Oh, by the way, the pictures are not working. I'm sure they're pretty cool though

Sounds good. I like the faction list and it still leaves you plenty of extra slots to add some more factions if you want to.

Thanks to all of you for the all important early support. To reveal whats going on now the Dacian unit list is being made into real models, and I should have something to show all of you on that front soon.

Just to nitpick, the Picts don't really exist as "Picts" at this time. "Caledonians" would serve as a better moniker. Also, will Hibernia be seeing much action? If the Roman player actually did manage to conquer and hold Caledon, a quick hop across the Irish Sea would seem like an appropriate move.

Alright, I'll change them to Caledonia. I hadn't though about Hibernia. We could iclude it in the map. Were there any important or major kingdoms/tribes their in 83 AD?

At the time of the Roman invasion of Britain the Pictish tribes formed a strong union with the Caledonians, Epidii, Novantae and the Votandini (who later joined the Romans) being the most notable members. This is why the Picts were such a problem for the Romans, they learned from the disunity of the English and Welsh tribes.

Well all of those tribes were at war with eachother and it was actually remarkable they were able to mend histories of disunity so rapidly.

The Goidils, who would later be known as the Irish. Rome never did bother much with invading this island, but the Goidils themselves took an active role in piracy and raiding upon and around Britannia - "Scoti", the word from which Scotland, an arguably Gaelic (read: Goidilic) kingdom, comes actually means "sea raider" or "pirate". I'm also fairly confident that Rome would have conquered Hibernia if things hadn't gone so poorly for them in Caledon or other parts of the empire.

Thats the point they came straight out of hundereds of years of the horse wars and banded together against a common enemy. On their own the Caledonians would have been wiped out by the Romans. Remeber the battle of Mons Grampius there were an awefull lot of Picts there all from different tribes yet they fought as a single army rather than a group of allied armys. Its only a shame they lost/ didnt win but i wont go into that now.
