The expert for time commanders do you like him,dislike him?
personnaly i think hes funny when he get carried away on the "post mortem" and start to smack the blocks around.

I have a soft spot for him, but before TC, he would crop up as an expert on just about every single History/Discovery Channel programme with anything to do with warfare and weapons - not that there's anything wrong with that per se, though he does risk becoming the Davina McCall of ancient war...

All the historians on that show are good. Even the ancient weapons expert (the bald, middle aged fellow) they ditched after the first few episodes was quite informative. Nusbacher's commentary is especially enjoyable but I could do without his hyperactive displays on the map table. When he bashes the blocks about I get the impression that he has way too much pent up angst.

They're both pretty funny. He was a bit condescending at times, but then again some of contestants were extremely stupid.

"You're heavily outnumbered by Britons, but the good news is you're on a hill in a highly defensible position."
"Quick, we've got to get down on the plain!"

"You're being charged by a horde of barbarian warriors and chariots."
"Quick, let's form the turtle thing!"
