    Default Oldest Named Character

What's the oldest named character you've seen?

I've got a spy who's still going strong at 81! I just sent him from Larissa to spy on Byzantium (I hope he makes it). That's the oldest I've noticed in my games. I've seen a few 70 somethings, but most of my faction leaders start dying in their mid 60's.

As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

My oldest character was a general who lived to be 82. And then he died. He was a very good general, so to honour his death, i captured another province for him.

I've had a spy be 88 before, but he dropped dead the next turn, man was he good! He had bribbed so many enemy armies lol, guess that's why he refused to just die! But it seems that my faction leaders themselves like to die in their 60's, I think 60+ means they'll die whenever, so better make good use of them if you can.

My 81 yr old spy never made it from Larissa to Byzantium. He croaked about 150 miles from his target.

    But, boy was he good.

I don't recall the exact age, but I've hit early 80's. 83 sticks in my mind for some reason.

The world was run by dirty old men what do you expect???

Well I was wrong there was the occasional young ruler, who nobody trusted and so on, like Selim the Grim, I think that was his name, the Turk that conquered Constantinople.

You will have to be under 40 if you are to marry any of my lovely daughters... (and if you're close to 40 you better have some good stats going for you!)
