Question Patch Rtw

hi i have a question if you do the patch for rome total war how cane you check or see that your patch is really installt becose my patch is installt and all whend perfect but i cant find any thing to see if ist really been installt

Hi Axel

I have patch 1.1 and if I go into my Rome - Total War folder there is a file called version with a picture of a cog on it. If I open this it has a line called ExtVersion=1.1. I assume this is verifying that I am playing the 1.1 patch.

hi mate sry but i dont have a file cald version and i still dont now how to see if the patch is on his place sry mate i hope you have any more idea s or somme one else

and the cog is it the same as your shortcut on your desk?

start up rome when you get to the menu go into options then look at the top right corner of your screen and it should state the version (version 1.1) etc

i pay for gameshadow to take care of my patches, only 10 quid a year, plus you get access to mods/demos, very good program, but then i have around 40 games installed

Basileus is correct, I have 1.1 on my top right hand corner. If you have only 1.0 then it may explain why you don't have the version file.

I have installed and uninstalled my RTW in the past so that file may be left over from a Mod. The fact that you have 1.1 showing probably means all is well.
