This mod is astounding, but I have to say, that I too don't feel the demon portraits are really appropriate to it. They're fine in their own way but they're just not authentically oriental in the way that Hoggy has outlined so far. And their style is jarring when placed next to Hoggy's work. Surely some inspiration can be more directly drawn from athentic oriental art sources?
