    Default Sound probs

    Hi everyone

Forgive me if this has been asked before but I can't find it. When I play the intro scene the sound is very disjointed - it's fine in the game. Any ideas?? My computer is OK re specs for the programme. It's not a big deal once I'm in and going but it's just irritating. I've only just got this game - it's looking like being fun.

    Thanks

Yeah, it´s the same thing with my computer. Comes all of the sudden, I think I must reinstall. Kind of borring to play with the sound turned low.

For me it happened right from the start and makes the intro cut scenes un watchable

I have 2 pc's, on one of them its fine and on the other its like you explained,
    like sound lag O.o
    i think it has either

    A) Something to do with the soundcard(cus i have a pretty good soundcard on one of the pc and a pretty crappy one on the other)

    Or

    B) Something to do with the RAM(that the pc is too busy and slow to get the sound right)

    Well, that my 2 cents...

    Thanks guys

It's Rome Total War. I'm not sure what the sound card is (can't spot the details so far) I have Compaq presario S6080AN Pentium 4. I haven't had this problem with other games.
Playing the game is fine and the battles work OK too thank goodness

I installed RTW when i had Windows ME and the sound was very jumpy but i have recently installed XP and its fine... from what i found out it was either installed wrong, it didnt like windows ME or the ammount of space i had spare on my PC was to small.

    hope that helps
