    Default Animation Packer

    Hello all.
Has anybody got there animations to work with the game yet and what did they do?
Heres my problem,(don't fall asleep just yet )first I extracted the animations then run the animeditor chose a skelleton(fs_fast_archer)and created a new one(fs_fast_archer_new)and the program created it fine and updated the skelleton files.
Then I ran the bat file(fs_fast_archer_newAddAnims)this updated the pak files.
By this stage I haven't yet added my own animations so all the animations in the newly created files are the original fs_fast_archer animations,so I thought I'd test these with the game first and the game ctd at startup.

So I haven't even got as far as putting my own animations in yet so it would be very helpfull if someone has managed this to let me know what they did

    Thanks M.EGG

Did you use the newest version (v0.41)? Try running with -show_err. An earlier version had a problem with spaces in filenames (real odd stuff) and as a result the engine couldn't find certain animations. With the newest version this is fixed.

I'll be running a very similar set of tests. We will have to compare notes and see if we can't get some kind of a step-by-step tutorial going. If I get this to work, I will let you know Mr Egg :D

p.s. Bet Woolacombe's a bit quiet this time of year :) Spent many a happy Summer weekend there as a kid, sitting out on the headland supping beer. Never liked Ilfracombe that much though....even though it was only round the corner :D
