I mentioned the Samnites, who I more or less consider Roman as they can only be recruited in Roman lands and their description mentions that they often would fight for the Romans. So while it isn't a Roman Roman unit, it is along the lines of the Auxilia I think.

i have to say the cataphracts look cool...there is no other unit, that i have seen, that has been covered head to toe in armour, not even armour elephants...they look evil when u look at their faces...more helmets than faces...
