Anyway, if it is anything like the one in the game ten they should have a chance as long as they keep their forces together (which might be a problem).

Richard Hammond!!! What was wrong with Eddie Mair?
I think Eddie saw his career nose diving with the first series - he looked like a fish out of water. Eddie Mair does serious political current affairs on Radio 4, so Time Commanders was possibly a bit low brow for him.Originally Posted by Baiae
Richard Hammond is the boy racer type presenter on Top Gear. I think he'll do well tonight as it is probably more his kind of thing. Anyway, he will have seen the first series so will know what to expect.
I also expect changes in the format - the producers should have learnt from the first series, especially to make it more of a contest against the "AI". Let's hope the teams have a chance to practice first.
He does sit in gold, his eye red as 'twould burn Rome.
Eddie lent it some kind of credability as a show... Sure, he wants to stay doing PM and stuff but this show is just a bit of fun, admittedly geeky fun..
Is Richard Hammond that bug eyed, short, squeaky guy off Top Gear, who speaks in sound bites and cliches like Clarkson?
If he is, then he's the same guy that causes me to switch over whenever I see his face and hear his voice... Sorry, I just can't stand him...
hes ok, i thought the same thing when i heard he was hosting but he did a good job, i preferred eddie mair though. The show has in improved alot on the whole :) that priest general was ACE!

That sounds scary... the most pacifist of people (which should ideally should be priests) having a deadly general...
Hammond, is he the bigger guy who just about loves all the cars? He has a certain flair and enthusiasm that could be a really nice addition to the show.

That show was one hell of a lot better...
