Those are some fantastic examples Hoggy? They seem to all carry the same old world styled painting theme, which I think is a good way to keep going with them, so they all have the same sense of professional continuity to them.

Hoggy, examining the data format in the game, it seems that for each Rome portrait there is a young, older and an old version - as well as some gerneric child portriats.

I was wondering if this could/would be continued in The Blue Lotus?

I don't think it'll be possible in Blue Lotus as already have to find a vast amount of portraits so finding old versions too may not be feasable.

Hoggy, I remember we talked about the possibility of having female generals, but I'm not sure if you remember the discussion.

If you do, you'll EVENTUALLY have to devise a way of doing two things.

    1. Ensure that female names and portraits match up and don't conflict with male ones.

    2. Ensure that female generals take male "wives" (i.e. not generals as well).

I just wasn't sure if the female portraits meant you'd decided to try it, or not. Just wanted to check. So what are your thoughts on having female leaders?

Also, if we did, would you or someone else make a female general?

I recall in SJTW thread, there was a discussion of portaits, and one gentleman listed numerous URLs that had some China mod portaits. Very nice portraits, go see if you could find'm

    Have you just been dumped?

I ask because it's usually something like that which causes outbursts like this, needless to say I dissagree completely.
