    Question ¿Buildings and their effects?

    Greetings to all,

I've just recently started using MTW:VI.
My question is what is up with the stat adjustments that the new buildings claim to effect/add?

Be it Drinking Den, or what have you when I re-train a unit to a province that has a supposed valor effecting building(s)
I see no increase in valor.

What gives? Do certain buildings only affect certain types of units
( such as the valor from one type of building only applies to one type of unit,
be it HVY CAV, or SPEAR, or INFANTRY, and I just haven't trained the right
type of unit for said building )???

Also, is there any way to search the forums? I tried to “SEARCH FORUMS” from the “FORUM JUMP” button,
and I get that I’m DENIED..............???

Doesn’t make sense. I imagine this has been covered by some thread a long time ago. If I’m right,
I would much rather do a few simple searches than post an already beaten dead horse
( They tend to annoy everyone, myself most of all).

    Saludos,
    Ramón

Hola Ramon - the valour increase is only for units trained in that building. For example, "Master Bowyer" gives +1 to your archers, Xbows etc. The buildings for agents (drinking den+, brothel+ etc) give you extra valour (stars) for your assassins and spies, but not your troops. But the agents' buildings do help keep your province happy and loyal.

Some units needs two buidlings, eg Ghulam cav needs guild level spears and horse guild, and I'm not sure which Master building gives the valour bonus, but the answer is probably on this forum somewhere.

    Hi Ramon,

    welcome to the .Org
(also Croeso to you macsen rufus)

The whole search thing just kept crashing the .Org so they stuck that Google search at the top to use instead.

Asa junior member you are also restricted about where you can go, but that is usually only for a very short time. I got promoted after about a week.

Dweud ( ¿Did I get that right?) Macsen Rufus,

After reading your post it became obvious to me that the little icon next to the building
tells you which unit it affects ( Stein/ Assassin, Lantern/ Spy).... Herm.
It seems so glaringly simple now...... I feel a bit silly.

    T.T.

    Thanks for the welcome.
Wow that many folks are trying to search this forum?!?!
I'm use to using a Forum specific Search tool.
I just assumed that Google window was there for the same reason it is on so many other sites-
(Folks encounter something they become interested in while reading at a site, and so want to Google it)
They are so ubiquitous that I guess I stop noticing them.

    Thanks again to you both.

    Luego,
    Ramón
