Anyone tried splitting up a legion between two players?

I was just thinking about how it sucks not being able to see the legion in its full glory because of the 20-unit limit. Then I thought about multiplayer.
What if two Roman players would divide the units of the legion between them?
Can they deploy together in the deployment phase or will they start in different locations on the battlefield?

two players cant play with the same army, they can be on the same team however and have their armies be set up next to each other. ( I think that's what you were asking...).

Yeah like if player 1 is Julii and player 2 is Brutii. But would they have a combined deployment area or separate ones? (I don't have my second computer here right now so i can't check...)

separate deployment, but its right next to each other, so at the start you could shift over if you wanted to.

The patch will allow one team to take same faction.
