    I think this is compatable with ALL versions of windows...from 3.01 to present

    Wish I'd have thought of that. Actually, that was the problem. The window had no "x" in the upper right and there was no close option with a right click. I had to alt-tab to get to any other window. I eventually had to "end task" to stop that darn cat. Well, at least the screen is really clean.
