    Default Generals bodyguard

can anyone tell me what are the main factors governing the size of a generals bodyguard? is it anything to do with how active they are regarding the fighting of battles or is it something simple like the older they get the bigger the bodyguard?? i just want to know if there is anyway i can personally influence it.

For a normal general, the bodyguard size is 20 (on large unit sizes), and the faction leader gets a bodyguard of 40. If part of it is killed, it will slowly 'grow back' over time, however, if the general is killed the unit will be disbanded.

I think it also depends on either general command (I think this is most likely), or influence (just a guess). My best generals can have like 54 or so men in their unit. This would make sense because as they become more powerful they need a bigger/better bodygaurd to deal with threats. Faction leaders may get a boost in numbers, but that could be due to the command bonus they get when faction leader...
