STW:WE online

In a quest to play my friend online I've become stuck. I've found out that EA no longer hosts the server but there is a secondary server up. I modified my internet.cfg file accordingly. How do I now access that server? Nothing works in the multiplayer menu and it's driving me nuts.

Another question: Can me and my friend even play together online (If I host and he joins) since I have STW:WE and he has STW.

He will have to have the same game and same patch as you to play.

Your problem may be due to there not being an EA secondary server, but one hosted by TosaInu, the admin of this forum. I believe he sets it up on Sundays GMT time. You will have to check the beginning of the STW MP thread which is stickied near the top of the thread listings. It should give you an idea when Tosa is running it. Either that or PM Tosa with the question of when.

I thought it was just on Sundays and maybe Wednesdays GMT time, but you would have to ask Tosa for sure.
