Unit Cards
Hi everyone,
First let me apologise if this question has been asked before. I have searched the boards for it, and found answers where people are asking how to do similar things but with added complications, but not this simple problem.
Basically I'm trying to give Carthage access to archers (same model as used by Numidia), and I have edited the export_descr_buildings and export_descr_unit files to achieve this. It's pretty much worked brilliantly - Carthage can now hire archers in the campaign and custom battles. On the battle-map they appear perfectly, both 3D and as sprites, even sporting Carthage's white-and-navy livery. On my reading of previous topics here, this automatic uniform change shouldn't happen, but it did, leaving me confused but pleased!
The problem is the unit card which shows a brown-clad (or sometimes grey) peasant. I've heard of this happening before, but don't know what to do about it?
How do I give these new Carthaginian Archers a unit card? Surely if the game can apply a new livery to a pre-existing 3D model it can easily do the same with a unit card?
Any help much appreciated!
