You *can* take him out with concentrated missile fire, but when I tried it I didn't feel like I was playing to the spirit of the game. So, un-usefully enough, I can't give you any advice on how to cut him down whilst staying within a role-playing mentality. To stick within the confines of the spirit of the game we'll just have to accept that to kill the oppopsition leader (and take the enemy's morale down by +-50%) just isn't cricket, and instead just try to concentrate on fighting the real bulk of the enemy's forces.
I dunno- I think targeting the enemy general is well within the rules of cricket - history is littered with attempts to decapitate an enemy army by killing off the enemy general or King - Battle of Shrewsbury, Battle of Bosworth and probably plenty more
- However in both these battles it backfired on the instigator, who ended up dead first! I can't recall which battle and King it was, it may have been Prince Hal/ Henry V who dressed several knights in his livery to prolong his life expectancy during the battle - legend has it that four out of the five were killed by the enemy and Hal survived much to the frustration of his attacker.
Any one got a "fancy dress" patch for the game so that there can be more than one royal standard on the battlefield at any one time?![]()
