Proudly announces that I STILL belong to the good old 20 - 30 bracket. As of tomorrow, though, I will be in the same bucket as the walking stick-swinging oldies (30 - 65). Oh well...will just have to go out and buy one of those then...

Be well. Do good. Keep in touch.
I'm 48. It's good to see so many young people interested in this time in history. When I was in my 20's I had no interest at all in this. We also didn't have a game like these to spark it though.
That was me, Im 67 years old. Im kidding! Im 15 turning 16 in about 2 months. Ive already wasted many good years playing the TW series, and Im darn happy about it!!![]()

Although I'm roughly two third of your age, I'll share that sentiment. We didn't have computer games back when I was a kid and then a teenager. I'm taking a bloody revenge now.Originally Posted by J_Caesar

YEAH! I'm damn proud of it too. People always say that it's a waste of time and all that crap but i don't think so. If older generations played more games they woudlnt' be this suicidal. This type of game envigorates the soul. The world doesn't seem as bleak when you are entertained.Originally Posted by Shottie

I am afriad I must disagree such typical image of computer games player.Originally Posted by guest
I too used to believe in such image, untill I got into the communities of games that I have played, such as Neverwinter Nights (roleplaying game and MMORPG type of online words), Half-Life's Counter Strike and Total War (got I play too many games).
I actually realise that many companies of people are from 20's onwards, and many clan leaders, and people who play the role as a host of a game, or a clan, are from their 30's.
Of course this is just my personal experience.

"Woof! Woof! Woof! (I came, I saw, I conquered)" - Pupu - Lead War Dog.
Also, there is only one vote for being 65 years old, everything else could hardly be caled, "elderly people". There is somthing called wisdom, which a lot of kids have no idea about, such as saying 20 years old + is elderly. Its much better than shouting "I will pwn y00000" during online game though :)

Old age and treachery will always overcome youth and vigour...

I'm 53...
Do I remember the Milton Bradley games? I had them all. Dogfight, Broadsides, Hit the beach and Civil War (before it was renamed Battlecry).
I started computer gaming with Zork and Mystery house. Zork had the best graphics ever done. At least in my mind![]()

INEZ: Prove it. Prove it was no dream. It's what one does, and nothing else, that shows the stuff one's made of.
GARCIN: I died too soon. I wasn't allowed time to - to do my deeds.
INEZ: One always dies too soon - or too late. And yet one's whole life is complete at that moment, with a line drawn neatly under it, ready for the summing up. You are - your life, and nothing else.

For your edification"Gaming" has been around longer than any of us here.........
Once upon a time, back when large reptiles pranced about the planet on thier rear legs (and way befor the invention of oil) games were played with maps made of paper and little tiny bits of cardboard to use for reminders of what sort of mayhem one had in mindSome even earlier ones used a map-board and little plastic figures (something that seems to have re-occured during the 90's)
Being a well aged 54, and having been gaming since I was 13 (anyone else remember those old board-games from milton bradley?) all I can say is this:
"One only gets older on the outside"! Quite a few of us are still just the same young jedi-knights we aspired to be!
I have the heart of a little child, and the brain of a genius; I keep them in a jar under my bed.

Yes, some people focus a lot on the "rock, scissors, paper"-principle of earlier TW games. Imagine how boring that game was 40000 years ago! (Gary Larson has).Originally Posted by L`zard
