I've read on some topic (can't remember which) that if one attacks Venice on the very first or even second turn with Hungarians (early period), the Italians will retreat. They'll accept peace few turns later! I've tried it and it worked! I've got courios tough... Can that Bohemia with iron and silver be obtained same way?? Well, it can. Also can Austria and Bulgaria. Within only few turns I've expanded from three provinces to seven and on my way to get three independent ones (Serbia, Wallachia and Kiev). The both Empires (Holy and Byzantine) were not happy about me taking their lands, but I've built forts in them and stuck them with 240 men each and they came to me suing for peace! And all that on expert... Within 15 turns I have three deposits of iron, three (or two not sure right now) of silver, two copper, one gold, great farmlanding Hungary and a trading powerhouses Venice and Kiev.![]()
The Hungarians are vastly overpowered...
What do you think? Is this sort of playing cheesey?? Do you know of a similar thing?
