Hi RJV

Sorry for the delay. Due to my problems with RTW I invested in Civ 3 with the Conquests expansion. Not a bad game but the combat ceases to rock my boat like Total War does.

Well in the hope that one day my campaign map problems will be sorted out here are my stats:

Dell Dimension DIM 4600
P4
512MB of RAM
2.40 GHz

I was on driver 61.77 but have now upped it to 66.93 with no change.

My DirectX is up-to-date.

I have a firewall in place.

I just cannot understand why it only impacts the campaign map and not the whole of the game.

Any further advice is greatly appreciated.......................from anyone. I've checked here, at the org and twcentre and a few people have the same problem with no proven fix.
