Who killed PBM?!

It used to be fun reading one of these, after them the game seemed more exciting. So where did all the PBMs go, anybody else like reading them?

To answer that you should go to the Throne Room forum. My guess is they just went quiet with RTW and with turns being every six months rather than every year people couldn't roleplay their characters as effectively as in MTW.

You could always make another one up of course.

I was there, saw only like two PBMs, both were never finished and I think both didn't have any good writeups...I could have missed them though *shrugs* Still kind of sad...

PBM is Play by mail. Basically one person begins the game then plays an X amount of years and sends the save game to the next person. After that he writes up a review of his reign, it kind of gave the game some character and was fun to read, especially if people added screens and stuff.

There are a lot more than two in there... The problem is the cutoff date for the view of the forum, and ony ones that have been updated recently will be shown.
