Help with running the game...

I just bought this game and installed it last night. I had some problems with the installation getting through (giving me error 1335?) but after a few times it finally got finished. Well I tried to run the game and the screen turns black then goes to the red screen, but then it turns black again and goes back to my desktop (crashing I assume). I tried to reboot my computer mulitple times and also re-installed the windows media 9 things a few times as well but these do not work. If someone could help me that would be great, thanks.
