Hi there, well ive been reading my er enclopedia, (sadly it didn't teach me to spell correctly) anyway here are some textures i've been doing for the dacian faction, i believe they are historically more accurate than the rome total war game.

Ive been checking out their god too, and me gods i hope to make an all new improved standard bearer etc, but basically im going thru the dacians the now, if u have any interesting ideas let me know. The point is really to make these units appear more realistic, and with also more realistic flesh tones etc.

Hey, kaiserjaffa you if your interested you should p.m Aymar de Bois Mauri to see if you can join. I have kind of a minor role in the mod, but i can tell you that new moddellers/skinners are always welcome.

Note that the changes arent perhaps enormous, but i think they make the units appear a bit more real i hope

i am 99% positive that the head guys would have you. We have many units left to be done and skinners are highly prized.

If you don't want to join the mod i will leave you alone, but i just thought i would try to recrute you

Cool yep i am doing Dacians mainly, tho i was really wanting a roman faction i could use to play with them (textured in the same desaturated, modified style.)

So then heres links to a variety of units, they include new velites, hastati, principes, triari, archers, crews, peasents, early and normal legionaries etc etc etc. I will add more customisations to them, tho i have given the hastati armour i think is appropriate to them er *gulp* historically (however i wont state anyone elses hastati is wrong, cos after all.... whose ever right about history 1700+ years ago anyway)

Note that many of the edits are very very minor, focussing on colour saturations, to make them seem more 'realistic' at least to me lol, and the editing of clothing trims, and etc to more appropriate levels for units.

also for the banners the dacians used an corp of the dragon with the head of the wolf as a banner,as a dacian i know.we call em "Balauri"-the corp and Lup-wolf
