Problems creating thermopylae...need help

as the title states, Im creating a rough sketch of what thermopylae will be like. It will be awesome after I remove one problem...

everything (from the start) is perfect. all I need to do is adjust the cliffs a little bit, but the MAJOR problem, is that the persians just walk OVER the cliffs and surround the spartans

please help me

Did you use the cliff models, or just change the height of the land to make it look like cliffs? If you did, then they won't be impassable. Under landscape models there are several types of rocky outcrops and cliffs which are impassable...

yeah...I just changed the height...

can you show me a screen of where you mean? I dont know where that is.
